Some suggestions

  • Please don’t start a course with telling kids about how they’ll be graded. What are some more interesting ways to get the students into the subject and understanding MYP Science? How can you get to know the students quickly?
  • The experimental cycle is a great way to get into criteria B & C without having to go into an ‘assessment’ right away. Can you think of a quick, simple practical that students can talk & write their way around the cycle?

This site has lots of resources for MYP Sciences, and you can find much more for general MYP and learning on my other site: sjtylr.net. You can find me on Twitter as @sjtylr.

    Hi Steven,

I’ve been using your resources for a while, and you are amazing!!!

I’ve been wondering if I could offer you any of mines, and should you find them interesting, I am more than happy to share.

We use turnitin, and we created a bank comments for MYP criteria. If you want them, let me know and I can email you the files.

    Have a nice day!

    • Hi Tony,

Thanks for the message! If you are willing to share, that would be great. Do you have your own website?

      Stephen

      • Hi Stephen,

Now I am using Moodle in the school, and my wiki kind of out of date.

If you want, I can email them to you.

        Cheers
