Your site is terrific. It must have taken hours of your time to put this together. Thank you for sharing. I have pointed my students in this direction and look forward to learning more as I click around the site.
Nadine
Thanks Nadine, and good luck!

Thank You!! Sharing your incredible site with all IB teachers and students around the world is tremendously generous on your part and fantastically beneficial to us! At my school we newly added IB Biology and used your site this year with great success; we hope to do so continuously. Thank you for maintaining your sites pages and not limiting their use to only your school’s students. We gladly made donations using your Biology4Good page, the selections for which our students helped make.
With great admiration, appreciation, and best regards, IB Biology students at WHS & David Novak
Thank-you David and your students!
I have also thanked you on the Biology4Good page. I’m glad it has been helpful.
Good luck,
Stephen
Thanks a lot. It is really very knowledgeable post.
Just wanted to drop a line and say, “Wow, what a site”.
Very comprehensive.
I live in South Australia and I am a Biology teacher.
We have a different syllabus but I can still find plenty of useful things that are useful on this site.
Brilliant.
I will link to it on my site if that is ok.
It’s great to be a Biology teacher in the 21st Century.
I’m beginning my first year teaching DP biology here in Hong Kong. All I can say is thanks so much for sharing with us all. What an incredible resource you’ve put together!
Thanks Gerry and Josh!
Brilliant Steve!!What a site!
Thank Mei – and thanks for all your work on the new BIS site!
This is really wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing! I am so happy to have some online guidance, since I am just starting to outline IB biology at our small school.
Stephen
this site is getting too good! You’re making the rest of us look dated. Fantastic resource.

John
Click4Biology
Thanks John!
You’ve gotta love WordPress for making the themes so easy to change. I hope you don’t mind my adding a C4B logo on this sticky post – when I was tweaking the site over the holiday I wanted students to be able to access all the top resources from the first screen, without scrolling.
Good luck to your classes!
Stephen
Dear Stephen,
Thank you so much for all the time and dedication that you have put into your presentations. As a new teacher, let alone IB teacher I have found your presentations invaluable. My first class of 3 students graduated last summer all with a 5 or above in biology, which was due in no small part to the amazing resources that you made available. Not only have your presentations and site been of continual interest you have also inspired me both in my teaching and presentation quality!
I would like to make a donation for all that I’ve previously used in class and will no doubt continue to use. On your site it requested that we contact you to see what would be an appropriate donation. Please let me know and I can get my new students (a class of 10 now) to help me select.
Thank you again, and if ever you and your family make it over to the BVI you’ll always have a warm welcome at Cedar International School!
Many thanks, Jane.
Hi Jane,
What a lovely message – thank-you! If you simply want to make a donation, you can visit my gifts list here and the rest is up to you.
Thanks again and good luck with the new classes,
Stephen
Hi Mr.T
How are you in Japan? I have heard that earthquake strike Japan AGAIN. I am doing Biology by the way. But is so hard…. Anyway I hope you are doing real well Mr.T
Hi. Thanks for all your hard work on this site. I donated money to one of the Charities on Biology4Good, but the Powerpoints are still blocked. My username is hurricane1410 on slideshare. Because there isn’t a login for your website, how will you know that I have donated to one of the charities and give me the rights to download?
Thanks,

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for the kind donation. I received the notification from Gifts4Good. Please email me with the powerpoints you are after and I can send them. My email is stephen[at]i-biology.net.
Best regards,
Stephen
Hi Stephen, I both love you an hate you for having this amazing site. I’m jealous, yet thankful.
Any ideas about Ipads as learning tools in the classroom?
Alejandro
Hi Alejandro,
Thanks for the comment! I’m not a big iPad user, though they can be useful for running quizzes on Socrative, as internet devices or as drawing pads. I would love to see them interface well with datalogging probes. There might be more ideas that others have.
Good luck!
Stephen
I donated through the Biology For Good website. How can I get access to the ppts? This site has been so helpful, have you thought about providing teachers with answer guides to your section worksheets?

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the comment and for the donation. That’s not one of the charities on the Biology4Good team list, but I appreciate the intention. Can you let me know your email and I can add you to the folder?
I don’t actually use the worksheets in class any more, as I’m a 1:1 environment and we do other things. Unfortunately I don’t have the time at the moment to update resources that are not directly used in class – most of my job is now in MYP and coordination.
Thanks and best regards,
Stephen
My email address is adhungerford@yahoo.com. Thank you for adding me, sorry for the confusion on charities. I completely understand time constraints- Perhaps I will print them all off over the holidays and complete my own answer keys all at once 🙂 Thank you again for the site it is amazing!
You’re welcome – good luck!
